About Oleksandr Slobodskyi
I've spent over a decade in the creator economy — not selling dreams, but actually testing platforms, building systems, and helping real creators earn money.
Since 2014, my guides have reached 2M+ creators. I've helped grow a YouTube channel from 0 to 350,000 subscribers, set up international payments for 300+ creators, and consulted on adult creator platforms generating $10K+/month.
Based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Originally from Odesa.
Most creator economy advice is optimized for selling hope. Mine is optimized for what actually works.
What I Actually Do
I test monetization platforms so you don't waste time on the wrong ones.
My process: sign up, use the platform myself or with clients, document what works and what doesn't, then write about it honestly — including the parts that suck.
Platforms I've worked with directly:
- Fansly — 3+ years consulting, helped creators reach $10K+/month
- OnlyFans — Direct consulting experience with adult creators
- Payoneer — Helped 2,000+ creators set up international payments
- Patreon, Gumroad, Stripe — Personal use + client implementations
I also cover payment systems (PayPal, Wise, Skrill), marketplaces (Fiverr, Etsy), and AI tools for creators.
Creator Projects
- Anna Lomakina: Helped grow her illustration YouTube channel from 0 → 350,000 subscribers (40M+ views). Launched online courses with 3,000+ students.
- Scorpyoga — Building an online yoga community with Scorpio Princesse, focused on membership monetization.
- Maguza — Launched online course for barbers. First launch: $10K+ revenue. Now expanding to an educational platform.
- UNITED24 Media — Growth and SEO consultant for Ukraine's international media platform.
Tech & Automation
Sea-Sky — Built custom CRM and property management system that saved 70% of management time. Currently developing AI chatbot for apartment bookings.
Htotse — Webflow payment processing optimization and CRM implementation.

- International creators dealing with payment headaches
- People who prefer boring systems over motivational fluff
- Anyone tired of "guru" advice that doesn't work in practice
This is NOT for:
- People looking for get-rich-quick schemes
- Those who want someone to blame instead of solutions
- Anyone expecting magic formulas or secret hacks
For over a decade, I've deeply engaged in helping individuals in the creative economy discover ways to earn a living and develop their monetization strategies.
Distinguished gentleman on a left is me in 1999.

Getting my hands on a computer early on really lit the spark for my digital creativity. I remember diving into designing websites for any game I have been playing online.
That was the beginning of my love affair with web and interface design.
When I was fifteen, I started reaching out to companies to design their websites. I had this policy – they only had to pay if they loved what I created.
This approach really set the stage for my freelance career. I've done all sorts of projects, from designing a therapeutic app in Africa to uber-like app for strippers in Australia.
My policy paid of in testimonials from my Upwork's clients.

But it wasn't all about professional work.
I've been part of all kinds of projects – dabbling in stock photography and illustrations, marketing and production for online courses, writing articles and creating a videos.
I've always been up for new challenges and learning as I go.

Yes, I was hoping that this photo of eggs for Shutterstock will make me rich and famous.

I had a journey full of various experiences:
I helped a friend to start and grow an illustration YouTube channel from scratch to over 350K subscribers and 40 million views.
We launched few online courses that gains 3K+ students and made a sustainable source of passive income.
I even tried launching my own startup, rgb.academy – educational platform for artists.
It's dead now, like any first startups has to be.

While transitioning from freelancing to personal projects, I began documenting my journey on this blog – slobodskyi.com (formerly openeyesdesign.com).
What are my articles about?
- Payment systems: Payoneer, Payeer, Skrill, Stripe, PayPal.
- Marketplaces: Fiverr, Etsy, Gumroad, Shutterstock.
- Subscription services: OnlyFans, Fansly, Ton.Place, Patreon, Fanvue.
Over the past ten years, more than 2 million unique users have visited my blog.
I still in love with logo we created for openeyesdesign.

So, what is going on here?

I am here to help you on this exciting journey through a comprehensive free guides, online courses and consultations.
